The Practice Dispensary

Collecting your medicine from the Surgery

The Practice can dispense medication to those patients who live more than a mile (as the crow flies) away from a chemist, this is mainly those living outside the Leighton Buzzard area. Unfortunately we are unable to offer a dispensing service to patients who live within a mile (as the crow flies) of a chemist

Our Dispensary is staffed by qualified Dispensers (Monday - Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 5.30pm) who will be able to deal with any queries you may have about your medication. Dispensary also offer telephone appointments to deal with any queries you may have, please book through reception.

Prescriptions and dispensed medication may be collected from reception when the surgery is open. However if dispensary is closed, receptionists will not be able to deal with any medication queries.

Collecting your medicine from a chemist

All chemists in the town offer a collection service, which means you order your prescription from us then contact the chemist of your choice and ask them to collect two working days later, you then go directly to that chemist to collect the medication. Some chemists offer a daytime delivery service contact individual chemists for details.
