Nursing Administrator

Part Time – Hours Negotiable.

Leighton Road Surgery is a large, friendly, dynamic, training practice with a patient list of 22,500. We offer a complete spectrum of services and endeavour to put the patient first by adopting best practice.

Due to reorganisation of roles within the nursing department an opportunity has arisen for a nursing administrator to join the team. The administrator will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient electronic and paper filing systems and stock ordering.  You will also be responsible for the management and organisation of the chronic disease recall appointment system and other pre-bookable nursing appointments, as well as supporting the nursing services manager with on-going administrative tasks. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a demanding environment with changing priorities, and be motivated and reliable. They will possess excellent IT, administrative, communication and organisational skills.  In return they will be given support and encouragement to develop the role and contribute to the development and implementation of nursing and health care services.

Part time Practice Receptionist/Administrators

25/35 hours over 5 days each post

Supporting the practice team over two sites, your duties will be interesting and varied. You will need to be computer literate, with good interpersonal skills and a flexible and professional manner.  Good customer care skills are essential. Some clerical work will be involved.Please note you will be working in a call centre environment. 

25/35 hours each week by rota, this will involve mornings, afternoons, some late evenings until 8:30pm and Saturday mornings.
